Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide
The Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide allows people with a wide range of business or educational experience to conduct Third World international business seminars and training sessions using the Xemorpheum® board game, offered exclusively through Global Insights Education, LLC. The Xemorpheum®Facilitator Guide also connects the Xemorpheum® board game and seminar material to the book "Corruption Arts in Third World International Business: Traps, Swizzles and Swinles Used by the Master Players" by Rich Gottbreht, ISBN 0-976696-0-5, $34.95. Global Insights Education, LLC uses the book, the game, and the facilitator guide in two professional seminars, and offers an Understanding and Managing Kit (includes all three products, plus the 200 page Global Insights Education, LLC Planning Workbook, 5 informative pamphlets and a handy carrying case) so schools and businesses can conduct their own training sessions using the Xemorpheum® board game.
The Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide is not required to play and enjoy the Xemorpheum® board game right out of the box.
The Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide details Basic and Advanced Seminar versions, along with six sub options, which allow facilitators to customize seminars to a wide variety of participant education and experience levels. There is even a Player's Option for playing the game at home with family members where players compete against each other without having to contend with Richmanian Devils (game ending cards unique to the advanced game version of Xemorpheum®).
The Basic Seminar Version is aimed at participants, age 13 to adult, who have international business interest and little or no international business experience. The Advanced Seminar Version is aimed at college level participants and seasoned business people and has been successfully tested with experienced international business people. The six Seminar Sub Options allow the games basic characteristics to be altered. All of the seminar versions and options have been successfully tested across this whole age and experience set.
Changing between seminar versions and sub options is as easy as removing or adding a few cards to or from the games four card stacks (Culture, Environment, Government and Prison). Most of these cards are based on the actual Third World business experience of the games designers. The Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide also shows the connection of the games eighty cards to the real world and outlines approaches to mitigate or eliminate the impacts of practical problems in the Third World business environments.
Depending on game and seminar options selected, participants experience many of the emotions and problems caused by being dropped into a totally new business environment and illustrate the impact of everything from culture and language to corruption and currency crisis.
The Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide gives key terms and game strategies that work best, as well as key learning points and concepts for the facilitator to use to ensure that participants get the seminars poignant messages.
The Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide also connects the Xemorpheum® board game and seminar material to the book "Corruption Arts in Third World International Business: Traps, Swizzlws, and Swindles Used by the Master Players" by Rich Gottbreht, ISBN 0-976696-0-5, $34.95.
The eighty page Xemorpheum® Facilitator Guide on CD-ROM is now available for purchase and sells for $19.95 (US), and is sold separately from the Xemorpheum® board game, and the Understanding and Managing Corruption Kit. Orders can be placed through www.globalinsights.biz.
